question about wheel size

RE: question about wheel size
phastal, hopefully someone knowledgable on this subject will help out here but I've heard that different overall diameter tires will effect the computer and ABS. You could actually have different size wheels and change the aspect ratio to keep the overall diameter the same and then there would be no problem at all. -Joe

RE: question about wheel size
Just curious why you would want to?
There is no reason why you couldn't as long as the diameters with tires is less than 27.8", which is as large as I have read being tested.
The Corvettes, Saleen S-7's and Porsche's use larger rear wheels, especially tire width for handling reasons based upon their rear weight
bias 49/51 Corvette to 40/60 S-7; the Mustang is 53/47, front heavy. On a Mustang the best handling comes from putting the biggest tires
on all four corners - 275/40 or 45 on 18" rims seem the best all around as 275 seems to be the limit up front and 20" rims get heavy.
