I think that should work. But the problem then becomes if you ever forget to flip the switch.

I've had my 06 GT stored away since Oct.05 ... Start her up every week or so without a problem ... I too was worried about the dreaded battery drain ... So far so good ... Hope you guys can figure out what's causing it ...

my battery was dead when I went to start it up in late Feb., but it hadn't been started since before Thanksgiving. I recharged the battery and now it starts up everytime. When I tried to charge it hooked up to the car it wouldn't hold the charge, but when I disconnected the battery from the car it took the charge. I make sure the radio is always turned off as well as the a/c blower controls.

battery disconnect


I wonder if this would help ?
It let's you disconnect the negative side,by turning the ****.
