OK, I know there are threads but I can never get the search function to work.

To my question. I have MAC axle backs and the rest of the exhaust is stock. The drone is bearable but I want to know how to get rid of it. I've read in here that changing the factory H pipe to an aftermarket H Pipe or an X Pipe will fix this. Is this true or not. If it is true could some please explain how changing this eliminates the drone. I plan on getting high-flow cats and a new H pipe for the sound instead of the X pipe knowing the X pipe gives you more power. I'm thinking of staying with MAC if they make such a set-up.

Dynamat installed under rear seat and in trunk will virtually eliminate the drone. However, I have the MAC's also, and don't find the drone that bad.

I have flows and an o/r H, still get the drone, but not quite as bad as without the H pipe. I don't think u can get rid of it without dynamat.

the drone isn't too bad, just in 5th gear at say....cruising speed. I just remember something about changing the mid pipe and was wondering if it was true and how it changed it.

Thanks for the info though. Might be cheaper to do dynamat then the new pipes. But eventually I would like to change the whole exhaust.
