It looks like they've found some old ASC McLaren parts they weren't able to use. And what exactly's so special about the California Special anyway? I don't know about you guys, but I'll take understated any day.

Hmm, wonder if they fixed the skippy 500 yet for the 07's? Might be worth paying the extra $$$ to get the new one with the audio jack installed on my 05.

If my info is right, I thought that the CA Special was a marketing scheme introduced in the 60's because Mustang sales had leveled off (or slumped) and it was simply a way to get more interest in it... so here we are now, with the V6 mustangs sitting on lots... so reintroduce the CA Special to pick up V6 sales. Understated, overstated, it's all a matter of taste. 20" rims, stripes, hood and window scoops... that's what most people seem to be doing, and that sounds very overstated to me!
