Default AXLE

Hey all, been lurking for a while and doing research. Anyway I took the bait and am a proud new owner of a Mustang Gt. All I can say is wow and I have put about 350 miles on her since Saturday. Hammer down! I am used to driving pick-up trucks and have never had anything like this. I love it. However I noticed the axle is not painted and shows a little rust . Are yall's axles painted? This concerns me a little because I live in a very humid, salty environment . Tell me this is just paranoia and this is normal. also I think I got a pretty good deal, 27232.00 out the door with no bs. for a black premium with int. upgrade and black leather seats. Love my car, just not the gangbanger attention lol.

Same here. I went from a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram with the Hemi which weighed 6,000 lbs. Really nice truck. Did 16 flat 1/4 mile. Traded it on on a 06 Mustang GT Tungsten gray. I couldn't be happier! I loved my truck, but I love this more! So fun to drive!
