I started hearing a squeaking sound coming out of the right rear area every time I pulled into or out of a driveway or went over a bump. I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the shocks. So after waiting for more than four months for the new shocks and having them replaced I would still hear the squeaking sound. Now they are telling me that it has something to do with the rear seats. So my stang is at the dealer right now hopefully being repaired. I mean the squeaking sound is not that loud but it is anoying because I feet that a car that new should not be making that kind of sound. Has anyone else experienced this same problem with their stang?

I have an 05 GT with the same problem. I haven't checked the back seats to see if the bolts holding down the seats are the source of the squeak, but when the weather improves I"ll take her out of the garage and have a look. Let us know what the dealer says and if they fix the problem.
