yeah I will, I have to find someone with a video camera, I have one on my digital camera but I guess it has noise limiting or something. Last time I tried to make a sound clip it was cutting out, and distorted.

I've had Flowmasters on quite a few different cars and loved them, but I was just reading on one of these forums last night that people are having trouble with them. They say they hear a rattling in the back and have found out that the inner baffel plates are breaking loose from their welds. Flowmaster is offering them replacements or their money back. Personally even after having Flowmasters on other cars I think the stock GT mufflers have a good sound and have not changed them on my 05 GT.

Would that inner baffle make a tinny rattle sound at around 2800 rpm? 'Cause mine does that, ,been driving me nuts trying to find the source..

That may be. I have the same exact problem except it starts around 2200-2300 rpm, and my dad will not accept the fact that he was wrong and I was right about these flowmaster's. It is a rattle that lasts for aboot 500 rpm, and it is really annoying. It also only happens in 2nd gear.

The rattle is almost definitely the mufflers, u both might have a minor break, mine was unmistakeable, it was loud as hell, and almost unbearable. I installed the Pypes violators today and they sound mean as hell, highly recomended, and there only $249 from brenspeed, I ordered them tuesday and had them today, free shipping.

It was so bad that when I took off the flowmasters u could actually shake them around and hear sh*t clanking around inside.

Sorry to have read about the hassle Flowmaster was giving you, they should have taken care of you right away.

Now that they are off the car, send them back to Flowmaster...use my name and address if you like.

Best of luck to you on your new exhaust.

Damn. I was rather happy with the Flows till all this feces came up. Now, I think Im drivin a timebomb. That they WILL F-up its just a matter of when. I dont want to go down the long sound clip/opinion road again. I did all that before I bought the Flows. I want that good old glasspack sound. Smooth rumble/purr very noticeable and not too loud. But now I dont have a clue as to what to do. Play a zillion clips that dont sound anything like the real mufflers, or listen to one "I love mine" after another....crap. And if the fornicating Flows DO break, I paid to have 'em installed so what do I do about that? Drive to the mechanic and have them removed and drive home on straight pipes or buy some Whoknowswhatfler for several hundred bucks and take a chance they wont stink.[:@] [][&o]

Redfire,
I here ya. Mine arrived from Brenspeed just this past Tuesday. Waited all fricken week to install them this morning. (long week[:@]) All this crap started after I had already ordered, and they had shipped. I went thru the same process you note below, and don't want to do it again. I just went ahead and installed them this morning, in hopes of this being an isolated occurance, maybe a batch that was welded on Monday or Friday.
All I can say right now is, damn they sound good. Raining here in SoCal today, so really couldn't get after it too much, but from what I could, this is exactly the sound I was looking for....

Add my car to the broken baffle problem. And yes mine is on the passenger side as well. Anybody have a good number to Flowmaster? I'll try to google it.
