Default Best RPM STOCK take off?

What RPM would be best for dragging someone?

And furthermore, when should one shift? Should I wait just before the limiter kicks in or should I shift even before that?

a)depends how fast you let out the clutch. if you dump it, only go at 2k...if you slip it, you can let go as high as 5k (clutch will hate you tho)
b)before rev limiter..duh

Depends on what tires you are using and how much the track is hooking up. If your using stock Perillies somewhere around 2500-3000 also lower the PSI to about 20 when you race. Get Drag Radials and you may be able launch at 3500. Here is a pictues for you a bad launch burning the tires a good launch hooking lifting and going..

It all depends. How heavy is the person you are dragging? Are you dragging them with a rope or a chain? If a chain, how heavy? Doing this on a smooth surface or rough asphault? Or on dirt? Are they standing when you start dragging them or sitting or laying down. Are they on something to avoid any type of surface burn such as a sled or a trash can lid? Or are they rough riding it? All of these factors will come in to play.
