Default Started but died 3 seconds later

'05, GT, auto, Convertible, 17K miles, 13 months old. All TSB have been fixed including new gas tank. After 7 weeks of rain out here in California, we had a sunny afternoon (75F). Car would turn over but die after 3 seconds. Sounded like it was starved for fuel. It did this twice. I had it towed to the dealer who fired it right up this morning and found no problems. I have had the car for a while so it has seen 105F days as well as 30F days. Has anyone else had this problem? Rich

It was the fuel pump.

Maybe bad fuel pump relay. Check fuse as well, though if the shop started it without changing the fuse, that obviously wouldn't be it, but a relay can fail and stick in one position or another until it is jossled lose by, say, a trip on a tow truck.
