RE: procharger
Nice numbers. Just watch how much you push the engine.
I agree 100% with this. A lot of people in a lot of forums writing up aboput how their engines blew in a very short time frame.
There is no "magic" HP number on where these cars will break. Some are good engines, some are not so good. Some run fine at 500hp, some blow at 375. Tuning plays a key factor also.

RE: procharger
yeah i am definatley rolling the dice, car is paid off though so if something bad happens it shouldnt be a problem. i know some guys with prochargers that are pushing 13-16 psi and getting about 510-565 rwhp on a stock motor with no problems thus far. i have had this set up for 3 weeks now and have been running it pretty hard now and then. the clutch is holding up good, but i am changing it out soon.
changing the rear wheels from 255 to 285 next week and changing my gears back to 3:55's, no need for the 4:10's with that hp, traction sucks in 1st and 2nd but once your in 3rd and the boost kicks in it is nasty. talked with the guys about upgrading my engine to handle the full power of the procharger and they said it would cost around 10,000, does that sound about right?
