I know what you mean I am also hestitate about a super charger that would produce more than 425 horses or a spray. I have too, have heard of engines breaking at 400 horses with our pistons and rods.

At the crank. Some guy a while back posted here pictures of a broken rod and piston after he installed a super charger.

[:@] Ouch!

I heard the cars ar good till like 400RWHP which is like 400 at the crank. It all really depends on the tune.

Well I'm not a mech. but I have heard that its good to have forged pistons for these set ups. Good Luck and by the way waiters make awesome tips you didn't mention that part when you said you make 2.00 and something a hour.

Logans I tipped the waiter or waitress 15 percent. For example bill is 50 bucks then they get at least 7.50. That isn't bad is it?

The thread from a ways back about someone blowing a rod at 400hp was at 400 WHEEL horse power. You talk to anyone around here who is modding their car and they don't talk in terms of crank hp 99% of the time. 400rwhp is the equivalent of about 440-470 crank hp.
And +1 on getting a good tune for your car. That is key numero uno. Don't do anything at those hp levels without a rock solid tune......else you will eventually be very sorry.
