I've installed the Pypes Violator Axle Backs on my car. They definatley give the car a deeper sound. You can hear the differance at idle, when accellerating, and at WOT. On the highway while just cruising along the car seems to be louder but not too loud. I would normally go with Flowmasters but with all the problems people are having with them I decided to go with the Pypes.

 

Interesting...I was thinking of trying those with my O/R H...cuz my SLP LM's are way too loud with it.

 

I'm running the stock pipes and the car is plenty loud for me.

How long did the install take?

Are you able to save your stock mufflers for re-installation later on (meaning they are not damaged in the removal process)?

 

It took about an hour. The old mufflers just unbolt no cutting involved, easy take off with no damage.
