Went to the track for test & tune
Went down the track four times today. Once was with a Dodge SRT4. He had some kind of slicks on the front and I could hear his turbo. He beat me by 1 1/2 car lengths. If I had a turbo I would have wooped him. I ran a 13.4 at 102+ mph.
I beat an older 5.0 really bad. He ran a 15.5
Chrysler 300C ran a 14 something.

If I had a dollar for everytime someone said "if I had this or that I would'a whupped him!" Good time though!

That's my point about his car. It had forced induction. To be fair mine would have forced induction too. I was still impressed with his car. Didn't know what all he did to it. He sure got better traction than me with those slicks.

Well at least you can say it took him having to have turbo to beat yours. In my opinion if someone has it and you don't, then it's not a fair race no matter what someone is driving.

The SRT threads in here are numerous and though like them or not, there are some quick ones out there and they should be respected. Good times and remember, the more you go to the track - the more money you're going to dump in your car...

4cyl + turbo is not unfair over a v8 as long as the guy is boosting no more than 14.7psi (theoretically would double his power over NA). im pretty sure he was doing more than 15psi though if he ran a low 13.
