use the stock to hold it down... works better.. use the pin for looks...
If you got a stock hood, I dont see why bothering drilling in your hood...

I have CDC also, i'm just waiting to put them on when the car comes back from the bodyshop. I got the removable for when I sell the car and the same reason as I purchased the CDC Classic instead of the Aggressive Chin. I don't want to do any drilling or cutting on my vehicle.
That is just IMO, other people may not care although I prefer to avoid any type of cutting and drilling.

Im saying that they work better for a Stock hood YES.
I know a couple of people that have pins and theres make noises and have some rattling when they get high speeds.
So my opinion for a stock hood is .. yes they work better

I think half you guys have lost your minds and have more $ than sense. I just got my GT a week ago and there is not a single thing I would want to change about her. It's the most beautiful car I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of performance enhancements, but all this spoiler and hood pin and mirror color and stripes and chrome tail light trim.... It boggles my mind!
But I guess that's why we're here, right?

I have to laugh at irony. Despite the mods on my '88, I was determined to keep it looking stock. As a result, I might have the only 5.0 in the entire state with 10 hole wheels still on.

To each their own, NYC. But if I have $ to spend (which I don't right now... kids!) I'm probably putting it under the hood or floorpans, not on top of the car or inside it. But that's just me.
