I was showing off my Roush s/c to a neighbor's family yesterday after church yesterday afternoon and my car died while idleing in the churh parking lot (right there in front of God and everybody)! Had it towed to the dealership after multiple embarrasing attempts to re-start.

I'm thinking fuel pump. The car cranks but will not start. Hope it's not a timing chain slip. I had that happen to a car years ago and it took out half the valves. This car only has 2K miles. I was about to take it in anyway because the front end groans during slow turns. Sounds like it's low on power steering fluid but it's not.

I guess I will find out Monday what each problem is.

Any guesses?
Did you by accidentally post this is this thread? Because it absolutley has nothing to do with it, haha lol.

gotta go stick unless you are a serious racer or stop-go commuting. auto will give more consistent times because you remove the human factor. nothing against autos but going through the gears and smokin between 1st and 2nd is the greatest rush. then get yourself a short-throw shifter

Not knowing what gear I am in in some new cars with autos seems to be a bigger problem than it used to. In my mopar which is a 3 speed torqueflight auto, you always can tell what gear you are in.

Whenever I drive my parents jeep, which is a 5 speed auto, it manages to always keep me guessing.

It is more a matter of fun than speed. Ferrari and lambo are in love with their new sequential manuals. But due to american demand only, offer a manual with a clutch to us in some cars. According to most articles, they cannot imagine why we would even consider having a clutch pedal in the car when you can have SMG.

i thought about it a lot today and i am going to wait for them to find me a manual. i am also wanting the red interior with the black body on a vert. i love the combo!
the five speed is a good choice. There is something to be said for crankin it up of a back road with the manual.
Just watch out for stomping on it and not shifting fast enough!!
