Default instrument cluster

dumb question, but here goes.....i have an 05 black gt with the premium package, but not with my color option. i was thinking about changing the gauge faces to the steeda white face (or other brand white face). when i was looking through califonia mustangs catalog, it said "6 gauge gt option" or 4 gauge v6 option". my car only has four gauges! tach, gas, temp, speedo. am i supposed to have 6? i never thought i did until i saw that on their site. i know its a dumb question but was just curious. thanks in advance!

i have an 06 gt, same gauges, and it only comes with 4. but if you buy a 6 guage cluster, you can hook up the battery and oil pressures. only thing you need to find out is if the factory harness has the other 2 in it, or if you need to find a new PCM connector that has the oddball two in it. the instrument panel is held in by 4 T-15 screws, and 2 PCM connectors. thats what sends the information to the cluster. careful when you do this whole operation. its imperitive you get the needles back to the correct places when the car is idling. try it before you actually put the kit back into the dash. this should all come with instructions. hopefully.

This is correct. The non-IUP clusters do not have the lower oil pressure and voltage indicators.
