MIL Eliminator???

MIL Eliminator???
Ok I am going to buy an O/R Xpipe. I know I need MIL eliminators, but I can't see spending $60 for a few resistors.
I guess what i am asking is, are there any how-to's on making your own MIL eliminator. Seriously, all an o2 sensor is is a resistor. So I imagine that MIL eliminators are just resistors of some sort. Does anyone have any info on this? I CAN'T be the first person on here to realize this...

RE: MIL Eliminator???
mitssn,
don't know if you have any current mods or if your looking into a cold air intake kit with a tune but with sct excalibrator II you can turn off your rear 02 sensor and eliminate the need for the mil eliminator. i'm not sure about diablo but i'm guessing you can with this tuner as well. as for building one, i know i couldn't along with the average guy around... but in fact man has built it so with enough knowledge i'm sure you could....

RE: MIL Eliminator???
I have a JLTII intake with a SCT Xcal2 programmer with tunes from Evo. From what I understand, the XCal2 model 9415 has the option to turn off the rear O2 sensor. I must have the 9400 model, not the 9415, becasue I do not have that option.
Look at this thing... Seriously, it is no more than a resistor or two...

RE: MIL Eliminator???
yah i see what your saying... looks like a simple solution as you have to wire them in yourself. i'm not sure myself, hopefully someone else will? as for the 9415 vs 9400 i never realized that and now you got me thinking and now i don't remember seeing that option for mine either!! i was kind of banking on that sometime in the future. not to steal the thread but is this information correct... can only the 9415 turn off the rear O2 sensor?
