Default another GTO post

Soo i know there has been alot of "smack" talking between the GTO owners and the new stang owners. I have done some searching on here and i have no come up with a few answers. My friends got either an 05 or 06 GTO. stock...auto...single exhaust? (idk i found that kinda weird but then again i dont know too much about those)

My question is is there any threads on here or if anyone can tell me; can a STOCK 05 or 06 mustang GT 5 SPEED take a 05 or 06 GTO(auto, stock)

Thanks in advance and sorry for another GTO thread.

if i remember correctly stock for stock gto the is a bit quicker in acceleration to 60 and in the 1/4 mile.... but very slightly. also thought they were rated at 400 horses but if i'm wrong i wouldn't be surprised. don't really care what the goat does, never seen one as their not for sale in canada so my chances of runnin' with one are slim to none.

Stock vs stock the goat will win. I saw one at the local track and I am pretty sure he was stock, maybe a few minor bolt ons. He was running 13.3's wheel hopping like crazy. Saw him again the following week, this time with DR's. Still running 13.3's. He is obviously not the best driver but then again, I heard they are hard cars to launch. Just my .02

Oh yeah, if it have a single exhaust it was an 04

New to the board here so hi to every one.
Now my stock 05 GTO "dyno tuned only" with stock tires ran a 12.97 at 112.5 at the dragstrip in Napierville Canada.

It really doesn't matter now lol. They discontinued the GTO. Didn't make the mark of 18k units sold a year.

Here is a link with some of the info. I read on one site they dropped it because of sales. I read on another it was due to safety regulations. It is more than likely a combination of both.
