get gears and solidify the good driver mod and you will hold your own surprisingly well. no guarantees on a win, but if he is stock then you very well could pull him. again, not right now, but with gears its possible. i have walked a couple, and i trapped higher than one with a pulley, intake, exhaust, and a tune at the track...he had slicks so he got be by 2cars to the line though.

Ha im in the same situation sorta. Buddy of mine got an 03 Cobra. So im ordering a KB and keeping it on the down low. Gonna trash talk him and be like amn lets race and see how bad you beat me, I wanna know how slow my car is scompared to yours. Then blow his doors off

..... His is stock right now, but he is fixing to pulley it.

I was tailing my buddy's '04 Cobra pretty good at a road track. I got 2 videos of it from two perspectives to prove it. Granted his throttle control is no so good coming out of the turn to hit the straight.
