My 05 gt gets flat spots on the tires, but my carsits alot (1 year old- 5000 miles). I would say this is normal. It takes about a mile or so and it smooths out.

Yes, I have this problem with my stock 17" Pirellis. It was more apparent when the temperature was colder. In fact, I only had to allow the car to sit over night (in the garage) to notice it. But, like you said, it works itself out after a mile or so.
