ORIGINAL: sdwndr

Scooter80, I see you have some mods, is that Victor Ford cool with that stuff?
Hehe, I haven't been to a service department since I installed the mods so I don't know. But I did talk with the service agent at Victor for a shifter problem and he is really into the Mustangs. They have Saleens there and service them as well. It sounds like they would do what they can for you but Ford is being a real dick with all things warranty. They are giving dealers a hard time with everything.

I bought from Sessler Ford in Libertyville and they sell Rousch. I also went to a dyno shop in Mundelein yesterday and he did the installs for Sessler for the customers that wanted Prochargers and Vortechs in their rides. He said that Sessler was trying to maintain a factory warranty with those installs but that Ford was fighting them.

Bottom line is, if you mod, expect to pay for service no matter what. Ford is pinching their pennies and doesn't care who it hurts.
