well actually 2 things...



my gas tank sensor goes stupid and give me a false reading and stays like that when i go sideways or go in turns fast.....


and sometimes after a highway drive for about 2 hours when i downshift my mustang 2 second it boggs like 2 times and slows a bit then goes nomrally happend 2 times in 2nd gear and 1 time in 3rd.... so like 3 times.... and im getting scarred

The first problem... I have no idea.

The second problem is related to your fuel pump gathering (and then ingesting) air bubbles. Take it to your dealer and they will fix it.

There are TSB's for both of these problems. Like he said your dealer can fix it. Don't be "scarred"

yeah i had the gas tank level issue just tonight, AGAIN. 85 miles to empty, then suddenly 15 miles to empty after a hard turn and accel!!!

So when I take my mustang to the stupid dealer i should tell them to fix the fuel pump ? or change it ?

i see a direct correlation between the two problems, your description of the second problem being the bridge...fuel system

OMG ... i think something is really wrong .... when it says 3 km left for fuel ( which is on E) i go fill half the tank and go maybe 20 km's stop the car for like 30 mins... get back and then i see my car getting a 1/4 of the gas left.. :s im really freaking out now.... there may be something hapening... you see after the gas tank went to false reading ... there was this speed bump that wasnt really made in a correct shape...so my car hit that speed bump really hard.. i know it had no effect on the frame and that there is no petrol driping from my car... but i hate to take my car to the dealer... because it stays away from me... and i dont like that...

My gas meter goes crazy sometimes when I take off real hard in the morning because I'm late for work.....yesterday in fact.

When I turn it off for a little while and start it up again the problem seems to be relieved.
