Default HP loss?..with flowmaster

Since installing my flowmaster axlebacks on my 06 GT i noticed a decrease in power. I assume it is a slight loss in torque caused by a decrease in backpressure. Tell me though, with all the flashing that is needed with most any modification to these things, i shouldn't have to flash it just for axlebacks should I?....and especially not for flowmasters.....(they're not even very loud) Anybody else notice a decrease in power with their flowmasters?

When I was buying my tune I asked Fred if it was important to let him know what axle back I was buying before I got it. He said that he tried them all on the dyno and all they add is noise. No real gain or loss.

+1. It's also been written about in numerous magazine tests. No power gain or loss.

You probably did not lose any power. What is happening is the exhaust is a lot louder making you believe it should have more power.
