Had 10" stripes w/1 1/2" spacing pan to pan, sanded, painted, cleared, no ridges, for $500. Rocker panel stripes were $250 more. Did a great job, they look like they're part of the paint, not stuck on top like plastic ones. If you're going to spend $25 to $30,000 on a car don't 1/2 a$$ the stripes, you'll kick yourself after it's done. Mine is an '06GT Premium Coupe, Tungsten with dark grey stripes, had them painted with 300 miles on the car. See how much he charges and determine how much of a friend he is. I didn't even know the guy before, he was recommend by someone who said he was GOOD and FAIR. He was both. Good Luck.

holy crap!!! 500 is a steal. expect 1500-2000 from most places. I guess there's always somebody that got a better deal...

Perhaps, everyone is in a "RUSH TO STRIPE" mode. I was also. To each their own.

When I took my baby to my graphics guy, we were looking up/across the street, about 100' away, and he said ya know, "if I were you I'd wait, that's one sharp SOB, the way it sits", "why not drive it like that for awhile, and then we'll stripe it, and it's like gettin a whole new car, all over again", and "if we do it now, and you decide you don't like it, ur stuck or we gotta remove 'em and start over"

With everyone and there brother striping their 'Stangs immediately, that made a lot of sense to me.
Plus the fact, he told me his vinyl supplier discounts everything 50-75% in Nov.

Excellent point LeJay, I was all hot to trot on stripes and my buddies all humored me, a few said it might look better without. Glad I waited. I put the $1,200 of the "stripes" into other performance mods.
