ah ha ha..."fecetious" as in 'riddled with feces' ? LOL!

I have Flowmasters and been on several long trips, and there wasn't any drone that worried me - a difference yes. I don't think the new stangs are quiet on the highway by any standard, but the difference to me was not worthy of complaint.

When you all refer to the Borla 'Ovals' are you referring to the Borla AxleBacks as opposed to the Borla Stingers? I was interested in the Flowmasters and heard a sound clip of them and thought they sounded pretty deep. But then I heard another sound clip that had 2 Mustangs side by taking turns revving the engine. One with the Boral Axlebacks and one with the FlowMasters and the Borla AxleBacks sounded a hell of a lot deeper. So are you saying the Boral AxleBacks have a little bit more of a drone problem though? I was thinking about the Flowmasters and the price is certainly better, but I see the Borals are all stainless steel and that's probably why they cost more.

Borla has two axle back setups. One is the Stinger and the other is the oval muffler.
The stingers are a more aggresive sound while the ovals have a more mellow tone closer to stock just deeper and a bit louder.

Thanks everyone, I just bought the Corsas last night second hand. I'll try to do the install this afternoon and post back tomorrow. I'll be at Oakdale car meet tonight if anyone is planning on going, see you there!

I have Borla S-Type axle-backs installed as my only exhaust mod.

Took it out this afternoon just to get a handle on the "drone" issue.

ONLY drone is around 2K RPM and that is very easy to keep away from.

Sweet system!!!!!

Sort of reminds me of my old 1969 Z/28 Camaro - well sort of ......

I think you will definately like the Corsas. I love mine. Hope you got a good deal on them. Mine were 582.oo plus shipping brand new, which I thought was a steal cuz most places wanted around 7oo. Anyhoot have fun!
