Default WHICH GEAR

I was just curious to find out some more information on gears. I was thinking 3.73 frpp will be good for my automatic, but will i be able to tell a big difference? Gas mileage is also a concern seeing how I only go to the track maybe once a month. I was also wanting to know about how much do they cost, and does it need to be installed by ford to maintain the warranty?

Default RE: WHICH GEAR

373s and 410 seem to be the most popular choices. 373s more for the auto. The acceleration gain is awesome, while gas mileage isnt changed much at all. About the warranty, most dealers will not warranty gears let alone do them. Gears will run you about 320 with parts install kit and oil. expect 200-400 for install. The thing you may want to consider if you do gears. You're also going to have to save up for tires ; )
