few mod questions...
buying c&l cai and sctII tuner. what's the gain in taking my stang in to a local dyno for vehicle specific custom tune over using the custom tune from brenspeed or evolution?
next i'll be getting ford racing or motive 3.73s. which set is the better purchase?
last question, would it be worth it to wait on the cai tune until i install the gears. meaning, would i save myself much cash or is it not enough to worry about?

RE: few mod questions...
1) A true custom tune would be completely specific to your vehicle. Each car is different, and each one is going to react differently to tuning. You can get a good "general" tune from any of the dealers you mentioned. But by going to a dyno, you are having YOUR car tuned, not putting a generalized this works great for most cars tune on it.
2) FRPP. Many people have expressed discontent with the Motive gears due to noise.
3) That depends on whether or not the person or shop you choose to do your tune will enable end user adjustments on the tune. If they will, then no problem. You just adjust the gear ratio and reupload the tune. If not, then wait and have all the tuning done at once.

RE: few mod questions...
i think that's good advice, thanks hawgman.
i think i'll probably wait and try to find a place that will do the installations and tune for the cai and gears all at once. due to being stationed in the middle of nowhere lousiana with the army i'll likely have to drive a good distance to find a decent shop to do the work. better one trip than two, and all the more fun adding more mods at once from stock!
