Default Quick Question

I was wanting to know if a C&L Intake will work with a Saleen SC. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

I've seen JDM use the racer model of the C&L but I think it reqs some sort of modified bracket or something to make it fit right.

You have three choices. You either get the $90 bump boots from JDM to go with the racer intake ( don't bother trying the street version, it won't work ), you order them through someone else for $45, or you get 1/2" shorter motor mounts.

You already talking supercharger? Hell, just a week ago you were just beginning to think about a CAI

Lak3rs,

Funny, I just had my Saleen Supercharger installed with a C&L intake on it, and just like Hawgman said, I had to order the new shorter engine mounts because it was hitting the hood by just a fraction. So we had them overnighted from JDM and installed them and now no more problems.

They look sweet too.

I should get my car back tomorrow, they are putting it on the dyno in the morning, so I will post a bunch of pics of everything.

Damn skymedic. Wish I would have known. I am very pro JDM. But I am very anit JDM prices. There was no need to spend that kind of jack on motor mounts. You could have gone here and ordered new hoses and it would have worked fine.
