Default RE: engine issues

the intake i have is the is made for a v6 plus its the base kit "just the filter" i used to have a 05' v6 its less restrictive then the factory air-box but if you see it next to the JLT its like about half the size, also considering it used the factory air tube im very surprised the car had the power it did with that intake but i wanted to really see what would happen with what some say is the best CAI out for are cars well that and the C&L.... i just wish that with the diablosport i could change things in real time then i would have been able to retune it my self just cruising on the highway but every time you change a tune you have to stop the car and the process takes a few minutes

also being considering changing tuners to the SCT, just wondering who has used both and has an opinion to share.........

I have SCT and have had no issues. But I think it comes down to individual tuners. If you get a SCT, evolution, brenspeed, and bamachips seem to be the most popular.

i wouldnt bother buying a tune i would most definitately have a custom dyno tune done again just wonder if the the process is any faster with a SCT or if it can be done in real time while im driving without turning the car off

I read somewhere in here that the new CAI for a particular case need the MAF to be reclocked. in otherwords, loosen the clamp at both end of the MAF block and rotate it while the car is running. While the car won't really gain anything without a retune, it shouldn't run like crap just because you changed it.
