Default RACING STRIPES

Just curious everyone? How hard are those stripes I am seeing everyone applying to their cars to put on? I am seeing a lot on Ebay and am curious which ones are the best? Also has anyone had theirs painted on? How much does that run? Pros Cons???

Have them painted on if you want durability and the best look. $1,200 is what I've seen on some posts. I thought about having stripes put on mine, but decided I'd rather have a clean, stock look.

I'm thinking about putting racing stripes on mine.

I want to go with a Maroon Color on a Silver 05, kinda makes look unique instead of having the everyday Black, white or even blue.

I just went with 3M Vinyl Stripes from www.baltimorestreetmods.com (they are a site sponsor) and they were extremely high quality. IMO you should pay to have your stripes installed considering you paid how much for your Mustang GT?

If you plan on getting them painted on (which I thought about) then be prepared to pay between $1000-$2000 depending on what you want and if you want them even with the current paint job, on top of, or clearcoat or no clearcoat. The Pros are they can look great, then the cons are if you get tired of them or don't like them then you are stuck with them unless you are willing to pay the price.

I really don't think ordering stripes off Ebay is the smartest thing to do since you have no idea what the quality of the vinyl is going to be and how long it will last.

Looks good! So did you put those on yourself? And actually www.baltimorestreetmods.com has a lot of stripes on ebay:

I want racing stripes badly because I want to make mine look as original as possible like "nothsa's" stang. Looks good man. I'm not getting them painted. Instead of spending over a grand on stripes, I'd rather put that money towards a body kit. But that's just me.
