Default RE: ordering one tomorrow

congratulations!

I've had my 2005 GT w/4700 miles for a few days and absolutely love it. This is the first car I've ever owned that will scratch 1st and 2nd with an automatic transmission and TCS turned on.

There's been a LOT of confusion over the various color options because the 2007 order guide is incorrect. What it describes and what is actually being delivered are two different things. IUP is the same as 05/ 06, but now there's the Premier Trim Package and the Interior Sport Appearance Package. You can get one or the other, but not both. The PTP color options are particularly confusing because they are two tone, but depending on what color you select you get either black seats (parchment or dove) or trim color seats (chamois, red). Basically the schemes are flip-flopped (see below pics). The best way to familiarize yourself with the options is to learn the '07 order guide by heart (do a search on the Barnett forums for "2007 order guide"), then compare it to the pictures posted in threads over on the Brad Barnett forums. Once you spend a few hours reading up, then come back and ask your questions. I am as familiar with this as anyone because I've been trying to decipher the options for months now (I have an '07 on order too), but it would take pages to describe all the possibilities. Happy reading!
