They are indeed 4 inch tips, that is the inside diameter on mine, of course I'm measuring from the top of the tip to the bottom so it's at an angle. I can't imagine having a bigger tip. I'll have a sound clip tommorrow of what it sounds like from inside the car at highway speeds and accelerating from a stop.

 

sweet i'd really like to hear it! is the rest of your exhaust stock? the reason i ask is every clip i've heard with the borla's has o/h or x-pipes so i'm real interested in a stock/borla c/b sound.

 

Yes! I don't even have a CAI yet. I would of had a recording today, but my digital voice recorder has dead batteries. Not sure if it will work better or worse than using a digital camera to record sound. I'll buy some batteries at work and record some clips on the way home.
