Default squealing the tires

ok, maybe it's just because it's been super hot out (100 degrees before heat index, plus lots of humidity), but i can't squeal the tires on this car.

with TCS on, i can't even chirp the tires in any gear.

with TCS off, if i rev to 4 grand and pop the clutch, the tires spin for like 3 seconds and catch. if i go to 2-3 grand, i get a chirp, any higher, i stall. i haven't tried revving it in 2nd from a stop and popping the clutch...i'm worried i'll bog.

any advice for how to squeal the tires? i'm NOT trying to do a breakstand, i want the car to move forward. maybe my GT just has ****ty horsepower? oh, and does the A/C have to be off? think maybe it's too hot outside?

any input would be great, i want to peel out like in the commercial with the father/son, and i'd love to leave 1000 feet of rubber if i can.

NO BRAKESTANDS, or "burnouts" cause i'm not trying to do that.

btw, i'm not new to a manual...in my 2003 acura rsx-s that i supercharged, i could burn rubber down the whole block in 1st or second. i only had 265whp in that 2800lb car, and i could melt rubber like none other. so don't tell me it's because i'm new to manual, cause i'm not.

I've been in texas for over a year, its not the temp, I always run the AC, and never have a problem spinning the tires. I have gone from red light spun all the way through first then second and probably could have gone through third but was running out of road. Don't know what to tell you, the car has plenty of power.

can you be more specific? what rpm did you launch at? what gear? did you pop the clutch? if i try revving in 2nd, then popping the clutch, will i burn my tires or stall?

this is all stock btw. could it be the computer in the 06's?

I have an 06 GT manual and I have no problem roasting the tires in 100+ degree weather with the A/C on.
Was the road that you were trying to do this on smooth or ruff? Sometimes that makes the difference

has to do with road surface, treadwear, and clutch life. you gotta keep the throttle down.

heres me doing it in my car, and then my friend in his bone stock RSX type-S.

is this what you mean?

my tires were cold, and the road was such that i didn't get clouds of smoke, but i got plenty. it just doesnt show up on the vid for some reason.

smooth fresh ashalt, flat.

and as for that vid, i can road my tires kinda like you did, for 2-3 seconds, but that's only like 20ft of rubber....im talking about laying like 100-200ft at least.

I did my first burnout ever a few days ago and I left at least 70 feet of rubber on the road. What I did was I revved up to 3K and dropped the clutch. After the gear caught and the tires started spinning (1-2 seconds), I pushed in the gas 3/4 to the floor. Didn't even have to use 2nd.
