Hey guys i was just wondering if the 05 and 06 v6 mustangs were well respected buy the gt crowd??

 

Who cares? As far as I know most GT owners like the V6 version, heck it keeps up with some of the older GT's like the '97 so they should respect it, either way, screw 'em if they don't.

 

I love seeing modded V6 mustangs, Love what you drive and youll have my respect.

And yeah if they dont "**** em'"

 

I have not seen any v6er bashing from the GT guys, but the other way around? Well................

#1 They are Mustangs just like ours. (family)
#2 My first Mustang was a V6 that believe it or not was badged up in every way as a Cobra. Saw it sitting at a dealership and was like "They gotta a smokin Cobra" lol dealer told me it was just badges and body work. At that time( maybe 7 years ago) I did not know anything about Mustangs except that a Cobra was a beast, so I was like, how much? I'll take it! lol

Lastly, with my purchase of the 06 Gt I was very,VERY close tp buying a V6 from the dealer. They had one all tricked out with stripes, and lowered, and 20 inch wheels, all modded by Ford and yellow at that. Loved the yellow. That thing looked sooo sick I was like let me get my GT and get the **** outta here before I walk out with that V6!


Like the other guy said, they are faster than some older GT's. A Mustang is a Mustang dude. Screw anybody who says different! and tries to diss family!

 

a mustang is a mustang whether its a v6 or a gt.my last one 3 months ago was a 02 v6.that car ran nice,especially after i did alot to it.the new v6's,very nice.they are no slouch either.

 

I like all stangs ...v6 or v8 ...I have a lot of great memories of the older fox bodies

I own a GT and would also love to own a V6, but I already have a car with a V6 (2003 Nissan 350Z). If I wanted to, I could trade my Z for a V6 Stang, but I love my Z too much to let it go.
I think the vast majority V8 owners aren't really concerned with whether someone drives a V6 Stang. You never hear anyone post anything about how great someone's V6 Stang is or whatever, but then there's always those minorities who start bashing the V6ers and thats all you hear about. This ruins it for everybody.
We drive a car with a great history and should all be glad that we're all a part of a big family of Mustang owners.

 

I own a V6 and don't bash V8's. I have seen V6 bashing on this forum from a certain owner of a red new edge GT, though I've also seen a lot of V6 bashing on a local forum.

I mainly got the V6 for the initial cost, insurance, and fuel cost savings. But when I made the purchase my plan was, and still is, to upgrade to a GT several years down the road.
