Vortech's 05 Mustang achieved about 192 at 6000rpms in 5th gear. Completely stock vehicle except for an intercooled supercharger kit at 17 psi, that car had 550 flywheel horsepower....

I had mine to @138 mph. Then I had a flashback to 1980 when I got my LAST speeding ticket. 107 mph in a 55 zone. Automatic trip to jail, didn't pass go either. Cost ....$225.00. That was in a 1974 F-150 with a warmed over 351C 4V with 4 bolt mains. God that truck would run.

actually it was an experiment on the new Stang, they didn't say anything about durability or how well the engine will hold itself together at that boost level, but it clearly shows what the new 3V engines are capable of.BTW it had 104 octaine fuel.

I think redline 6,500 with 3.55 gears is like 180mph...
