Looking to buy a tuner. I have a 05 mustang GT with an intake , xpipe and axelbacks. Looking to run a 91 oct tune. What tuners would you reccomend? Also can you put links to where to buy them. Thanks

What kind of intake do you run? Are you having and CEL issues with the x-pipe? Do you have MIL eliminators as well?

As for the tuner, there are many choices. But like me and many people on this forum we prefer brenspeed.

Other options for you are evolution performance or bamachips are some of the popular ones.

I would reccommend the SCT Xcalibrator 2 IMO. It really doesn't matter which tuner you have because each one simply loads the tune that you make, or is made for you.

I hope this helps.

Hold on. Let's be clear. It DOES matter which tuner you buy. You can't use an SCT tune on a Predator tuner. And it also matters which person/shop you buy your tune from. The performance difference can sometimes be dramatic. Most of the recommended shops on this board are SCT programmers, and do not work on Predator tunes. Therefore, I would recommend buying the SCT Xcalibrator 2. My preferred shop is also Brenspeed.

the place you buy the tuner, such as brenspeed or bamachips, will put the tune on the programmer for ya. . . then you just upload it yourself
