uh... ya, lol. if you use lower octane in an eninge that has a high compression ratio and requires 93 or better, the fuel could combust before it's supposed (b4 the spark plug ignites it) to due the increased pressure in the engine--> then you have problems. thats why you use a higher octane rating, it has less of a chance to combust when put under higher pressures vs. the lower octane rated gas

would 93 octane on a stock tune prevent the engine from leaning itself out quicker. . . cuz i ran 93 in mine stock, and it seems not to heat soak and lean out as quick as if i put 87 in it. . . could just be me though. . . that was at the track btw
I would say no because a lean condition is not the result of the octane or makeup of the fuel but rather what the A/F is and that is commanded by the computer and oxygen sensors.
coolio, that makes sense, but you never know with all the technology in these cars today. . . like mine rolls the window down when i fart, thats smart if u ask me!!!
