ORIGINAL: 07GT

What is the sport dash? Is that the charcoal instrument panel, optional equipment number 67D? Please post a picture if you could.

I think he's referring to the Sport Appearance Package, but the charcoal dash is actually part of the Interior Upgrade Package, not the SAP.

EDIT, after reading his post again he says its an all-black dash, so he may have the SAP without IUP. If that is the case, he has the base interior dash (no aluminum panels). You can get the SAP without IUP, but you cannot get PTP (premier trim package) without IUP.

This is the sport dash. It's the iup not the pup. premium has aluninum dash and you can change the color of the interior dash lights.

I especially like the new metal covered pedals. Was that part of the package or are they standard on all '07 models? I know the GT500 has them stock. They were on eBay for $35 and went up to $90+ when everyone caught on.

They were the part of the package I wanted most to see. I was pleased.

Hey how do think the borla cat backs will sound with the stock set up. I had the shop go back and quoet them instead of the flowmasters. They sound good on the net but can't really tell much from that.

I have Borla's and they are nice but the Ford Racing product is exactly the same thing made by Borla with a different name stamped on them for well over $100 less money. If not for the fact I got an excellent deal on my Borla catbacks I would have gone with the Ford Racing ones. I think you're better off buying parts from whatever source and then taking them to someone you trust to have installed. Whenever you go into a place to get a package deal like you're doing it's like going to buy a car from a dealer. I prefer to get the best deal I can on any given item and then have it installed by a professional or maybe you should even consider doing it yourself. Replacing the mufflers on a GT is very easily done.

Sorry, one other thing on the exhaust I failed to mention is you really don't need a catback system. The mufflers alone are called "axlebacks". These attach to pipes that run over the axles to the H pipe and cats. If a change in sound is all you're after just replace the mufflers alone. You should be able to sell your stock mufflers here in the parts section to V6 owners looking to have a dual muffler set up. The rolled tips on yours are a great selling point over any others.
