My volt meter swings all the way over when the car is running then it says check charging system. The needle was kinda going back and forth. Thought it was OK, but then swung all the way over again where it stays. When I just turn the key on without starting the engine then it's fine. It's only when the car is running.

I found out it's making the battery and red cable hot. Must be a bad regulator in the alternator. Guess I'll have to order a new alternator. Just sucks, because it's a new car and it went bad already. And I can't drive it the whole weekend while it's nice out.
