Just out of curiousity, did you all use the optional bracket off the valve cover, or not??

a lot of ppl didn't use them. . . but i did, and i had to customize it a bit, but its snug as anything

i made it to where i could use the factory valve cover bolt, i cut a chunk out of the side of the loop from the bracket to where it looked like a hook instead of a loop, then slid it around the gapping in the factory bolt, and screwed it back down in the valve cover, worked perfectly.

Check the dust shield on the tranny's bell housing for 2 missing bolts. This can also cause noise.

To be 100% sure Im not hearing dentonation(my rattle problem), I pulled a pulled a plug to make sure. The plug looked great, I have been driving with my tune for over a month now so there is plenty of time with the tune in place to have a decent reading. I was suprised that the plugs were 9/16th socket, and thank god these plugs are easier to get to unlike the earlier mod motors. I tightend the heat shields under the car a bit and that helped alot, but the slight rattle is still there just a wee bit. I'll just need to open up the exhaust more to hide these noises.

Missing bolts? Did you have missing bolts, I didn't notice any missing.

Yep, it made noise during the 1st few minutes after a cold start. Installing the 2 bolts solved it.
