Default A few questions...

First off, I have a 2005 GT 5spd manual. I already have SLP Loudmouth axle-backs. They sound great!

But, I am thinking about getting an X-pipe. Maybe even the SLP one. Will there be much sound difference (loudness) between the high flow catted x pipe and the stock H pipe?
Also, do you need to tune these new stangs for the x pipe?
And lastly, does anyone know if the catted x pipe will pass NC emissions testing? thanks.

any decent catted X-pipe should pass all emissions testing. . .

I have the bassani high flow catted X pipe. . . and believe me, it gets much louder over stock H

for the catted X pipes, no tuning in necessary, you might need tuning for the off road versions

Thanks for the response Black06

So i guess that its just not worth getting the off road then. Although, the SLP one comes with off road pipes and the cats so you can switch them out. I just want this thing to sound as MEAN and LOUD as possible. If it can sound that good w/ cats then so be it. One less thing to worry about.

Any other comments?

If you want it to get as mean and loud as possible get the Pypes off road H pipe. I hear that is the loudest set-up out there.

So, there is no way to trick the system then. Hmm, I guess you have to "know someone" then... lol
