Default Hydrocarbon trap

I read somewhere that Ford discontinued the hydrocarbon trap on later model 05 GTs.
Does anyone know when this was discontinued? Mine was built in June of 2005, but I haven't had the chance check it yet.
I was just curious if anyone knows.

If memory serves me correctly somewhere around April or May. To make sure, it only takes about 3 minutes total to check.

yes but it can take a lot longer to get the silly filter out!
Ended up having to use needle nose pliers and a LOT of twisting. My Gt was built in March of 2005.
