Noises?
Alright, today I got under the car with the jack and jack stands to replace my O/R H-pipe with my stock H-pipe. I didn't have much room because I didn't want to go too high with the jack stands, but nevertheless I managed to do it. I occassionally noticed this noise BEFORE putting the cats back on, but now I could hear it much clearer due to the exhaust not being as loud.
The noise sounds like a thin metal just flapping around and making noise all on its own. I would THINK that it's the metal that is on the under carriage so the exhaust doesn't touch it, but I'm not sure. Also, could it be my resonators falling apart? I don't have mufflers since I have SLP loudmouths, so I was wondering if anyone else had any similar sounds or if they could give me a rough estimate of what it is. After wrestling with that thing for an hour with 3 inches of space between me and the car, I am not in the mood to go crawling back under and smacking things around.
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Heat shield, yes... That's a good term to use.
This is basically what I was referring to. I really haven't checked them out all too much but next time I'm under there I'll look for something to tighten and since it's metal you may be able to bend it one way or another so it doesn't vibrate, which in turn means it won't rattle... but of course you just have to make sure bending it won't damage something else. Thanks though, I'll check that out. I was more concerned if the resonators themselves were falling apart, and they aren't even 6 months old.
