YOU GIRLS DONE SLAPPING AND PULLING HAIR YET?

NOW, BACK TO THE SUPERCHARGER QUESTION....
THE QUESTION SHOULD NOT BE - WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE WANT SUPERCHARGERS ON THEIR MUSTANGS.
THE QUESTION SHOULD BE - WHY THE HELL DOESNT EVERYONE GET THEM!

THEY ARE BAD@SS MAN!!!

WHY NOT SPEND A COUPLE GRAND ON ONE AND ADD THE 100-150 EXTRA HORSEPOWER?

AND TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.... HELL YES ITS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY SPENT!!!!

Ummmmm I got 100 extra for only 540.00. Vs. 5,400.00 sure mines not on 100% of the time, but it is there when I wan't it.

LMAO!!!

You should drive mine. Today I did a 1/3 throttle take off from the light with TCS off, yep, it barked'em when it went into 2nd.

I've now got 385 RWHP on mine with a hot custom HPP Racing tune and only 4psi of boost, and it is the car I always dreamed of having when I was a kid!

It is well worth the investment IMHO. It runs like a raped ape!

Thx,

Mike

Well, you are right if anyone stopped at 100HP with a SC they will feel used... that is not "good touching"...

Depending on what setup you are talking about - there seems to be an "average" of 6-8 PSI on the screw setups which means ~175-200 depending on a lot of variables...

So, now you are talking almost 500 crank HP without changing much of anything else on the car...

Going too much further requires stronger crank/rods/trans/rear/clutch etc... or you will break it, but as far as S/C is concerned - all you need to do is add pulley & fuel...

That is why people do it... you can in a weekend get power that otherwise requires a !@#$-load more work and leaves it virtually undriveable on the street with an N/A motor...

Not only that, but within limits "getting HP" becomes pretty trivial beyond this level - keeping it inside the block becomes the problem...

Why does everybody with a Mustang GT want to put a supercharger on it? Is there nothing else you can do to these engines except put a power adder on it?

Ummm...you are right but they are pushing out way more power than we are out of the box.....Plus exhaust's and CAI's actually make a HP difference on the LS1 and LT1 engines...where when we put that crap on its pretty much for sound and looks. (not really I know, but that's my thinking.)

We need to be able to keep up with those bastards lol...It's just to bad ford always wins top in sales but always comes in last to the Camaro in the HP department.
