Old man, but new kid on the block. A question if someone would help. I'm going to Trussville, Al Friday and having Doug from "Bamachips" dyno tune my car with the SCT,
I have installed a True X pipe and Magnaflow axelbacks, is the extra power from a CAI really worth the money?

 

You will be happy with a CAI and good tune, no doubts!! Which CAI do you have in mind? I have heard nothing but great things about the C&L CAI.

 

From one old man to another you will be coming home with a much faster car.

 

Fom a young gun to an old man, get the CAI! That seems to be everybody's favorite mod for HP to $ ratio. Except of course any type of forced induction.

 

Thanks for the input. My last Mustang was a 1967 w/ 289, I could take that motor apart in my sleep and have it rebuilt before I woke, but the new stuff (efi, ect. ) is way beyond my expertise. I have finaly reached a point in my life that I can afford to have the car I always wanted and with the retro look of the new Stang I just could not die before I had the chance to have some fun. Ya'll (yeah I'm from the South) stay safe.
