I had one brand new in 93, if it's in good shape and the guy knows how to drive, it's a tossup. Don't "misunderestimate" them. The key to them is keeping the turbo's spun up, they have 2, one for high and low RPM's. Whatever you do, don't roadrace one, one up, they'll put my 06 Gt5M into the weeds.

You mean a stock stang not to race one right? I raced him and spanked him very very badly. Ok so I also have a 99 miata just painted with 58k miles. You think I should sell it and pick up the rx7? Oh yeah, and my shift points are awsome. Here;s kinda a idea how it feels in my car: from a dead stop, plant it car may slightly break loose out of the whole, but just a chirp, about a half second later, you hear the turbo spool, and by 3500rpm i break loose, and literly skip to 2nd, upon shift, there's a good 50-60 ft long roach from my tires, and hard chirp into third. I hit 120 before I know it. That rx7 would have to have a lot to pull on me. I still think it's a cool little car though. The price for the hellion was 4900, and I paid 6900 for everything installed, and dyno tuned. I think that covers it. Thanks guys.

he means dont race one on a road course, not a drag race...As in something with turns, and I dont mean just "go fast turn left"....A mustang WILL need more than just some brute force to beat and FD RX-7 on the track
