Default Getting Heckled?

I've noticed on a few occasions that all it takes for someone to heckle you is to be driving a new mustang. I was just driving along minding my own business and some guy has to yell at me from the car next to me for no reason.

I'm a younger guy, but it bothers me how stupid a lot of our younger population acts. It makes me want to carry a potato cannon in my car so I can launch some tato's at these idiots. Maybe there's some sort of "mobile flaming bag 'o' poo" that could be devised for situations like this.

Does anyone else get hassled just for driving a nice car?

Well yesterday I had someone egg my windshield as I came under an overpass.
About a month ago, some kid threw an apple at it while I getting some stuff out of trunk - he missed, but must've ****e a brick when he saw me.
Unfortunately, he had about 100 yards on me at that point.
So yeah ... I'm becoming a firm believer in global nuclear war as it seems there are far too many nitwits present in this world.

While parking my wifes Mustang this summer some turds in a pile of crap rusted Chevy truck screamed that Mustang's suck, it was funny how they made sure they were far enough away that they could say this safely.
I smiled and mentioned anything would be better than a rusted out Chevy.

I gotta say I haven't had any negative comments.

Getting gas the other day and a local Christian school was having a fundraiser car wash at the station. The kids practically begged me to wash the Stang. They hooped and hollered when I broght it over and let'em wash it! I did get a scowl from the lady next to me in the minivan when the kids stopped washing hers and came to mine!

I have had nothing but positive feedback on my car. Usually a thumbs up or a smile and I can make out "nice car" as I drive by. I make sure to wave and smile and say thanks.

Yeah usally I get good comments. Either somebody giving me a thumbs up or a nice car. I'm a younger guy too (23) and most people can't believe that it's my car and that I paid for it (I hate it when ppl think my parents bought it for me). But if somebody did try to throw something at it then there would be a crime scene soon afterwards.

lmao!

Only positive feedback here. Not a single day (not one) goes by without me getting the thumbs up on the hwy or someone comming up to me and talking about how nice my car is. Oh, I always get the "light it up dude" but I am never in a position to do it safely when asked.

Ahhhhh(exclamation like sitting in your favorite easy chair) - there's nothing like the consolation of your good mustang buddy's. Yeah, it seems that these idiots are usually the passengers of some POS car hanging out the window yelling something stupid. I understand right away that it's jealousy, but I guess I am a little quick tempered. Maybe I should get some James Bond stuff in my car for retribution.

I can see it now....kid heckles me....i push my "secret button" and up pop the rocket launchers from the fender....funny thing is these kids are so cocky that I get the feeling he would be cocky facing imminent death.

Maybe I'll stick to the oil slick or spike strips. haha

I'll get an occasional "Mustangs suck" or similar, but these rants are far out numbered by the admiring glances my S197 Stang still gets after almost 2 years of ownership. And that makes it all worthwhile.
