Default New Dyno #'s

Here's the deal. For several months now I've had a complete exhaust system on my car, as well as the intake system(as far as the motor goes). But the local guy I have been using for my SCT has never really been able to ge the tune right. So yesterday (thursday) I dropped my car off to him as he agreed to put it on the dyno and see wxactly what's been up with my car.

He called me 5 hours later to tell me that the car was done.

Prior to this, my best #'s with the same mods were 271rwhp and 285rwtq.

As of now:
286RWHP and 302RWTQ

Which as far as I am concerned is great, considering this is a MUSTANG DYNO, which as many of you know, reads much lower than a traditional DYNO.

I figure this puts me to about 350crank hp and about 370 crank tq. That's means that I got a total of 50hp from Long Tubes, no cats, CAI, UDP's and a tune.

Awsome!!!

Nice job on jumping up a bit from Dyno to Dyno. Post you Sheet so we can see your numbers and A/F info.

I wish I could, but the sheet blew out of the car on the way home ( I had the top down)[sm=headbang.gif]

The reason that the car nver really ran righ was because the A/F was running way rich at 11:1 across the entire RPM range. After the retune, it floats right at 12.8:1 across the board.

He had tried to fix the tune before, bu never really got it right, and I was about 5 minutes away from getting a mail order tune. But the car's running great now.

Actually according to those number numbers....your looking at about 330hp and 350-360lb tq @ the motor.

Some people say you loose 15% from engine to wheels, others say 20% still some say 18%. I always use the 18% since its in the middle lol.

If this were on a Dynojet, i'd agree with you, but it was a Mustang Dyno which reads lower because it takes into account vehicle weight.
