I dont think you will beat that Caddy with just a CAI and tune...... it will depend on the drivers.

A customer of mine has one and he took me to lunch in it. All I have to say is you better bring more than your bolt on's and tunes, because that thing made my GT seem very slow. I recommend supercharging, and praying, or just stay away...
I raced one at Union Grove Wisc about a month back, his best run was 13.6 against my 13.39, maybe he should have prayed? I talked to the guy and he said his runs about average for that car stock (he's in a club that races them) which tells me the Mustang fares very well against them. So, I'll reserve the praying for the new Vette, Terminator's, Shelby's and others worth praying about.

Really, wow I must have won by pure chance, total luck, the guy stunk as a driver... OR perhaps people need to get perspective, the Cadillac CTS-V runs mid 13's, I've run against them where it counts, at the race track and they weren't the monsters people seem to think they are. Maybe all of the ones I saw were built on a Monday....

I have seen those Caddy's run very low 13's with a decent driver. Your basic driver on this forum probably will not hang with that car. Maybe you did beat him... if you did, chalk another one up for Ford! You run 13.39 on a stock car?

Motor trend tested them at 13.4. . . so edge to CTS-V stock for stock. . .

however, when i had just the CAI and tune, i ran 13.2. . . so i don't want to hear BS about not being able to take them with just that. . .

that are heavy you know. . .

This is a good example of without actual times, why I don't really pay attention to people who say the other car will kill, destroy, murder, fly by the mustang. Some people "assume", which makes an *** out of you, that because some car has more "power", that it will destroy the Mustang. Sometimes the said car is a little faster, maybe by .2 seconds, but that's definitely not flying by. If the driver is no good and you in the Mustang are, then you will fly by him.

That is all. Go back to your happy Mustang conversating, thank you.

have a great day,

- C [8D]
