I love my GT.
The chics dig it.
I've even got a hot Hooters girl to pose on my hood. (I know what you're going to say, but she was well worth it)
1 year, 3 months, and 11,025 miles, it runs just like it was new and its been problem free ever since I bought it.
IMO, its a great value for a V8.
One reason why I got mine is because it reminded me of my Grandpa's 1965 fastback.
I know I could never get back that original, but my GT is as close as it gets and much more modern.
As for some issues that others have mentioned:
1. Interior truck release - Doesn't bother me. Its just as easy as pressing the button on the key fob.
2. Gas tank filling issue - Did it a couple of times the first few months, but now it rarely happens. Once in a blue moon it does, but I just turn the nozzle upside down.
3. Also switched the stock rims for Silver Ford Racing Bullitts.
4. Don't see anything wrong with the prop rod.
Other than that, its perfect inside and out.
One day, I hope I can get this thing faster than the speed of light. [8D]

Well our 06 screaming yellow convertible GT was one year old this week with 21,000 miles.
Likes in addition to all the ones listed:
1) Absolutely love the convertible. (lol, enough to buy another one for my wife)
2) Enjoy how this car makes us feel while driving it.
3) Styling, it is cool how others view our car (seems all ages give compliments, even from known hardcore Chevy fans)
4) Decent stereo for stock.
Dislikes; (or more like changes we wanted)
1) Agreed with the shorter antenna comments.
2) More horse power. (thanks to Saleen and JDM, but I might have gone a little overboard lol)
3) Could handle better. (thanks to all the after market companies WOW what a difference)

Except for his comment about the tilt wheel, bluegill pretty much nailed my list. The only other thing I would say is that I am having to get used to a solid rear axle car again after almost a million miles of driving a popular German car brand that had four wheel independent suspension.
Other than that, I really love driving the car and I like others in this thread really love the 18" polished wheels.

1300 mi and 4 mos old
1. My dealer sez no way should I have the fueling issue on a late '06 but I do.
2. I velcroed the extra fob in the console box for a trunk release.
3. I wish I had ordered spoiler delete.... EZ fix once I decide which new one I want.
4. Love this MUSTANG, I've never taken out without getting at least 1 compliment or a thumbs up !

I'll hit 5,000 miles this weekend. '07 GT and I love everything about the car. The only dislike... when I attach the seat belt, I have to roll over to the left to expose the bottom part. It could be a little higher up to help access. If I was overweight, I could see this as being my problem. But I'm of average build and I have to fidget to get the belt in. Oh yeah, one more thing. The reflection off the hood is distracting...
(to the birds, maybe, lol)
